Naturreservatens begränsningslinjer håller minst samma kvalitet som Fastighetskartan skala 1:10 000. Under 2008 2009 genomfördes ett kvalitetsförbättringsprojekt där gränserna justerades mot fastighetsgränser och topografiska objekt i Fastighetskartan. Nya Naturreservaten mäts in i fält med GPS, men även en del av de äldre reservaten har mätts in med GPS eller med annan mätteknik med hög noggrannhet. Naturreservat ska inte överlappa Nationalparker och Naturvårdsområden. Underhållsfrekvensen är veckovis, daglig.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Hämtat från LM:s beskrivning av produkten Markreglerande bestämmelse: &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Planer och bestämmelser är hämtade från en rad olika ursprungsmaterial. De kan t.ex. vara digitaliserade från gamla kartor eller inmätta med hög noggrannhet med GPS. Därför är innehållet av varierande kvalitet. Bestämmelser följer ibland fastighetsgränser och kan i vissa fall ha skapats/ändrats i samband med fastighetsbildningsåtgärd och därmed blivit noggrant inmätta. Dessa fall gäller främst vissa typer av bestämmelser, såsom naturreservat. I Övrigt kan infångandet av bestämmelsegeometrier ha skett genom skilda metoder och har ofta fått en generell kvalitet. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Metod: &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Klasserna med Naturreservat från de olika källorna jämfördes mot varandra och det var enbart små skillnader i yta, och därför togs beslutet att använda geometrin från den klass som såg ut att harmoniera bättre mot fastighetsgränserna vilket var datat från LST.
